STEM affects on your Optional Practical Training (OPT) period. One year OPT if not STEM and 3 years for STEM.

Not all university "MS in Finance" courses are STEM.
Based on few folks research following MS in Finance courses are STEM:
1. MIT Sloan - MFIN
2. Washington University at St Louis - MSF-Q
3. Sacred Heart University - MS in Finance & Investment management
4. Fordham University - MS in Global Finance
5. University of Denver - MS in Applied Quantitative Finance
6. UT Arlington - MS in Quantitative Finance
7. Fairfield University - MS in Finance
8. University of Connecticut - MSFRM
